Privacy Policy

Privacy at a Glance
Pipday processes the photos you select and creates stickers and Pages directly on your device. Your selected photos, sticker images, Page images, Page backgrounds, and Page content are not uploaded to Pipday servers or to our analytics provider.
Pipday does not require an account.
Pipday uses Amplitude to collect limited analytics data about how the app is used. This includes a pseudonymous device identifier, app interaction events, session information, app and system version information, device model, and device language.
Pipday does not use advertising identifiers, cross-app tracking, targeted advertising, or precise or coarse location data.
1. Photos and Local Image Processing
When you choose a photo to create a sticker or use as a Page background, Pipday uses Apple’s system photo picker so you can select the specific photo you want to use.
Pipday does not request access to browse your entire photo library through this process.
Selected photos are processed on your device. Pipday does not upload your selected photos, sticker images, or Page backgrounds to its own servers or to its analytics provider.
Pipday does not store the original photo file, original filename, or Photos library identifier for a photo you select. When you create a sticker, Pipday stores the processed sticker images needed by the app locally on your device.
When you use a photo as a Page background, Pipday creates a local image copy in the app’s private storage so the Page can be saved and edited later. This copy remains on your device unless you delete the Page or remove the app, subject to device backups or copies you save or share elsewhere.
2. Data Stored on Your Device
Pipday stores information needed to provide its features locally on your device. This may include:
- stickers you create, including sticker images and thumbnails;
- sticker creation dates, styles, and color palette information;
- Pages you create and information needed to reopen and edit them;
- Page thumbnails and rendered previews;
- local image copies used within Pages, including Page backgrounds and images added to a Page;
- text and text formatting used in Pages;
- shapes, canvas ratio, canvas background, and other Page appearance settings;
- Page editing information such as item position, scale, rotation, and layer order; and
- other information needed for Pipday to remember your content and app state.
Pipday does not currently provide cloud synchronization or its own user account system.
3. Saving to Photos
If you choose Save to Photos for a sticker or Page export, Pipday may request permission to add the image to your photo library.
This permission is used only to save the image you requested. Pipday does not use this permission to browse or collect your existing photo library.
Images that you save to Photos are managed by your device and the Photos app. Deleting a sticker or Page from Pipday does not delete copies that you have already saved to Photos.
4. Purchases
Pipday may offer purchases through Apple’s App Store using StoreKit.
Purchases and payment information are processed by Apple. Pipday does not receive or store your payment card information.
Pipday receives the information needed from Apple to determine whether paid features should be unlocked.
For more information about how Apple handles purchase information, please refer to Apple’s privacy policies.
5. Support and Feedback
If you choose to contact Pipday through Share Your Thoughts, your message is sent using your device’s mail system.
The email may include:
- your email address;
- the content of your message;
- your Pipday app version;
- your iOS version;
- your device model.
The app version, iOS version, and device model are shown in the email before you send it.
This information is used to respond to your request, investigate problems, and improve Pipday.
Support emails are processed by the email services used to send and receive them and are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for support purposes.
You may contact us at any time to request deletion of personal information you previously sent through a support message.
6. Sharing and External Services
Pipday allows you to share stickers and Page exports, share Pipday, open Instagram, visit the App Store, or leave a rating.
When you choose to share a sticker or Page export, the image is passed to Apple’s system sharing interface so you can choose where to send it. Pipday does not use this feature to track which external service you choose.
When you choose to use a sharing or external-service feature, information may be handled by Apple or by the third-party service you choose to use. Their own privacy policies apply to information handled by those services.
Pipday does not control how external services process information after you choose to interact with them.
7. Analytics, Advertising and Tracking
Pipday uses Amplitude, a third-party analytics service, to understand how people use the app and to help improve its features and reliability.
Pipday sends a limited set of analytics information to Amplitude, including:
- a pseudonymous device identifier used to distinguish devices and app usage over time;
- session information;
- interactions with Pipday features, such as creating and saving stickers, opening sticker details, downloading or sharing stickers, viewing and creating Pages, adding types of items to Pages, saving or sharing Page exports, viewing the purchase screen, and interacting with purchase controls;
- Pipday app version;
- iOS version;
- device model;
- device language; and
- technical event information such as event timestamps.
Pipday does not send your selected photos, sticker images, Page images or exports, Page background photos, Page text or other Page content, color palette contents, support messages, or payment card information to Amplitude.
Pipday does not set an Amplitude user account identifier and does not require a Pipday account.
Pipday configures Amplitude not to collect location information for analytics. IP address is not stored as an analytics property or used by Pipday to derive country, region, city, or other location information.
Pipday does not use IDFA or other advertising identifiers.
Analytics information is used only to understand app usage, evaluate features, identify product issues, and improve Pipday.
Pipday does not use analytics information for targeted advertising or cross-app tracking and does not sell your personal information.
8. Deleting Your Data
You can delete stickers and Pages from within Pipday.
When you delete a sticker from your sticker library, Pipday removes the locally stored data for that library sticker. If that sticker has already been added to a Page, the Page keeps its own local copy so the existing Page is not changed by deleting the library sticker.
When you delete a Page, Pipday removes the locally stored Page document, preview, and private image assets associated with that Page, including its saved background image and images used within the Page.
While editing a Page, some local Page images that you remove or replace may remain in that Page’s private storage until the Page itself is deleted. These files remain on your device and are not uploaded to Pipday servers or to Amplitude.
Images that you previously saved to Photos or shared with another service are not deleted automatically.
Pipday does not currently provide an account or cloud synchronization service. Removing Pipday from your device removes its local app data, although copies stored elsewhere, such as images saved to Photos or device backups, may remain.
Analytics events that have already been sent to Amplitude are not automatically deleted when you delete a sticker or Page or remove Pipday from your device. These analytics records use a pseudonymous device identifier rather than a Pipday account or your name or email address.
If you have questions about analytics data or would like to make a privacy-related request, you may contact us using the email address below.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if Pipday’s features or data practices change.
When the policy is updated, the Last updated date at the top of this page will also be updated.
